Inter Miami returned to winning ways in Major League Soccer thanks to Messi’s skill. They defeated the Seattle Sounders 3-1.

The Argentine star assisted Jordi Alba’s opening goal in the 12th minute. Messi came close to doubling the lead in the 28th minute. The unfortunate shot hit the post. However, Alba retaliated in the 41st minute. He assisted Messi’s goal that doubled the lead.
In the 52nd minute of the second half, Ian Frey knocked Seattle out of the match. He headed in Rodrigo de Paul’s corner to make it 3-0. Seattle made it 3-1 with a goal by Obed Vargas in the 69th minute.
Messi had a chance to score a brace in the 76th minute. But Seattle goalkeeper Stefan Frei saved him.
Miami dropped to eighth in the Eastern Conference after losing to Charlotte on Saturday. With this win, they moved up to fifth with 49 points from 27 matches, with 14 wins, 7 draws and 6 losses.
