Model and actress Nusrat Faria was arrested in May this year on her way to Thailand. The star was released a day later. After that, Faria was not seen speaking to the media in that way. However, she has shared her stills and thoughts on Facebook and Instagram several times. Faria’s current Facebook post says that she is currently in Canada, participating in the Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America (FOBANA) held in Montreal. In the meantime, Faria has impressed the audience with her performance. While participating in this event, she also shared one of her thoughts on Facebook.

Faria wrote on Facebook, ‘People will say – he is like this, he is like that…. But believe me, you actually don’t know what he is made of. A day after her arrest in May, Nusrat Faria wrote on her fans’ Facebook status, ‘Thank you very much and gratitude to everyone who was by my side. I could not speak today due to physical illness. I will be back to you very soon after recovering.’
Nusrat was arrested by the police at the immigration checkpost of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while on her way to Thailand. She was later brought to the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) office for questioning. According to the case documents, Enamul Haque (35) was shot dead in the Bhatara area of the capital on July 19 last year during the mass uprising of students and the public. On May 3 this year, Enamul Haque filed a complaint case against 283 people at the CMM Court in Dhaka. Among them, 17 actors and actresses, including Nusrat Faria, were named as accused. The case was later recorded as a complaint on the court’s orders. Nusrat Faria was arrested two weeks after the case was filed.
