Former State Minister of Home Affairs Lutfuzzaman Babar visited the Home Ministry after a long time. During this time, he paid a courtesy call on Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
He went to the Secretariat at 4:30 pm on Sunday (September 14).
Senior Secretary of the Home Ministry Nasimul Gani, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Khoda Baksh Chowdhury were present at the time.
It is learned that the meeting was a courtesy meeting, but some views were exchanged on the law and order situation across the country, border security and crime prevention using modern technology.
Lutfuzzaman Babar served as State Minister of Home Affairs during the four-party coalition government from 2001 to 2006. During his tenure, he came under discussion several times, sometimes being praised and sometimes criticized.
