YouTube is now one of the sources of entertainment. Many people open YouTube channels as a hobby or to earn money online and regularly publish videos. However, even if they publish good quality videos on YouTube for a long time, they do not gain popularity among viewers of different languages due to linguistic complexity. To solve this problem, YouTube has launched an artificial intelligence (AI)-based multilingual dubbing facility. As a result of the launch of the facility, the message of any video they create can be automatically translated into multiple languages. As a result, people of different languages will also be able to easily understand the content of the video. YouTube has said that the facility will be opened to everyone in phases.

According to YouTube, this new facility has been launched using Google’s AI model Gemini. As a result, in addition to automatic translation, the facility can also retain the emotion and tone of voice. It is playing an effective role in retaining viewers. Along with audio, multilingual thumbnails have also been experimentally launched. Through this, different thumbnails can be displayed for different speakers. As a result, the video will be more relevant and attractive. There will be no need to even open separate language-based channels.

Already, video creators who have started using multilingual audio features are seeing a quarter more viewership for their videos. Creators like Mark Rober are adding audio in about 30 languages to each video. As a result, viewers from all over the world, from Seoul, South Korea to Sao Paulo, Brazil, are able to watch his videos.

Analysts say that this AI-based feature has simplified YouTube’s localization process. Creators can now reach a global audience without the language barrier. On the other hand, viewers are also getting the opportunity to enjoy content in their own mother tongue.
