Hero MotoCorp today launched the updated model of the Xtreme 125R bike in Bangladesh. With this, they have brought the single-seat variant of the Xtreme 125R to the market. The new model has been priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will compete with the TVS Raider 125, Honda CB 125 Hornet and Bajaj Pulsar N125. The single-seat variant of the Hero Xtreme 125R is expected to provide more comfort to the rider.
Hero Xtreme 125R price comparison
The Hero Xtreme single-seat variant is priced at Rs 4,000 less than the top-spec split-seat ABS variant. In terms of price, it will be positioned between the split-seat IBS variant and the split-seat ABS variant. In Bangladesh, the split-seat IBS variant of the bike will be priced at BDT 1,70,000 (ex-showroom, Dhaka). And the ABS variant has been priced at BDT 1,74,000 (ex-showroom, Dhaka).
Features of the single-seat variant of Hero Xtreme 125R
The single-seat variant of Hero Xtreme 125R will see changes only in the seat. Apart from that, everything else has been kept the same as the other models. However, the sporty look of the bike has been reduced a bit due to the single-seat. Although it can be quite convenient for city use and comfort.
Hero Xtreme 125R Engine and Performance
The Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by the same 124.7 cc single-cylinder engine that is also found in the new Hero Glamour X 125 model. This air-cooled engine produces 11.4 bhp of power at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
