KSRM, one of the country’s leading steel manufacturing industrial groups, has provided various items including traffic signs to Highway Police to ensure road safety and citizen services. These items were handed over at a ceremony held at the conference room of the Highway Police headquarters in Uttara Sector 4 of the capital on Sunday.
KSRM General Manager Ashfaqul Islam handed over these items to Highway Police Chief and Additional IGP Md. Delwar Hossain Mia. At the time, KSRM Assistant General Managers Md. Mozammel Haque Chowdhury and Md. Nazmul Huda; Manager Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Officers Md. Munmun Rahman and Md. Mahbubur Rahman and Deputy Inspector General (DIG-Admin) of Highway Police Imtiaz Ahmed and other high-ranking officials were present.
At the event, Highway Police Chief Delwar Hossain Mia said, “KSRM stands by the government and the people in any crisis in the country, including ensuring road safety. Like in the past, this time too, it has come forward first. I hope that KSRM will stand by us in the future as well.”
KSRM General Manager Ashfaqul Islam said, “KSRM is as committed to the country and the people as ever. From that place of commitment, it is always involved in various activities of the government. This trend will continue in the coming days.”
