The lunar eclipse is underway. At one stage, there will be a total lunar eclipse. The lunar eclipse will also be visible from Dhaka on Sunday night.
The Meteorological Department had said that the lunar eclipse will begin to be visible from Dhaka at 9:27:06 pm on Sunday. The central lunar eclipse will be visible from 12:11:48 pm. And the lunar eclipse will end at 2:56:30 am.
The moon is partially covered in Dhaka at night. Various media outlets in the country have reported that the lunar eclipse will also be visible from various parts of India.

Earlier, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had said in a press release that the lunar eclipse will be fully visible from the area starting from Hila Island in Indonesia in the east to Mombasa Port in Kenya in the west. Partial lunar eclipses will also be visible in some areas east and west of these two ends.
However, this lunar eclipse will not be visible from about 90 percent of the areas of North America, the Caribbean region and South America.
The lunar eclipse will begin on the night of September 7 and will continue until the morning of the next day, September 8. The lunar eclipse will last for a total of 7 hours and 27 minutes.
